What is a microwave generator?
What is microwave generator

An industrial microwave generator is an advanced piece of equpiment used as a power source that transmits microwave energy to enhance a product, process, or material.

The MT Advantage
MT Advantage

Microwave Techniques has a legacy that dates back to the inception of microwave technology. MT is also the only generator OEM producing 100% of its internal high-power components.

Why use a generator?
Why Use Microwave Generators

Industrial microwave generators not only improve your process and enhance your products, but they also provide advantages for energy efficiency and sustainability efforts.

Safety and Protection

The main design factor we take into consideration with our generators is safety and protection of all users, plus those in surrounding areas. Interlocking access doors on the generator meet or exceed all applicable government and safety standards (OSHA, Health and Human Services). This provides the safest operating environment available. All generator units feature arc detection in the waveguide and cavity, as well as safety interlocks on the doors. Our equipment conforms to safety exposure limits of 5 mw/cm2 measured 5 cm away from the equipment, twice as stringent as OSHA’s voluntary standard.
