Ultra-High Vacuum Sweep Bends

Microwave Techniques produces ultra-high vacuum sweep bends for high-power RF and microwave applications in the UHV waveguide environment. These units are available in E-Sweep Bend and H-Sweep Bend configuration. As with our other ultra-high vacuum RF devices, these components are available with a range of UHV flanges and interface options. UHV Capabilities Overview

Ultra-High Vacuum Compatible Waveguide RF Devices

Microwave Techniques produces an array of Ultra High Vacuum (UHV) compatible waveguide RF devices. These products are custom-manufactured to provide high electrical performance in the UHV and vacuum environment down to 1 x 10-11 Torr. All components use vacuum rated materials such as OFHC copper, non-magnetic stainless steel, and ceramics such as quartz, alumina, and sapphire. Our manufacturing processes involve advanced welding and vacuum brazing techniques. All ultra-high vacuum sweep bends are cleaned, assembled, tested and stored in our clean room.

    • Center Room : Assembly & RF Testing (ISO Class 5)
    • Outer areas : Vacuum brazing, cleaning, packaging, vacuum testing (ISO Class 6)
    • Entry : Dressing / Gowning area
  • Airflow system designed for 40 room exchanges per hour
  • Induction vacuum-brazing system
